How our articles are prepared

CFS articles are prepared from supplier technical documentation, published industry sources and CFS application knowledge gathered from cold foil production and customer trials. Most articles are written by the CFS editorial team rather than a single named author.

Technical review

Technical articles are checked for material, process and application accuracy before publication. Jimmy serves as Technical Director at CFS and technical reviewer for this guidance, covering cold foil selection, substrate compatibility, UV adhesive transfer, press setup and troubleshooting.

Technical review is an internal editorial check. CFS does not claim laboratory certification, independent testing or third-party verification for the guidance published here.

Verify claims against your own production

Commercial claims and trial parameters — anilox volumes, adhesive viscosities, tensions, speeds and cure settings — should be verified for your actual press, substrate, adhesive and end application before being used in production.
