- No dies, no tooling cost. Cold foil uses a flexo plate, not an engraved metal die — design changes are cheap, short runs are economical.

- Inline at 450 m/min. Hot stamping is a slow second pass; cold foil runs inline on existing UV-flexo and offset card presses.
